Socheata + Ken (San Francisco Engagement Session)

I truly do find connection with my couples. That connection that you feel like we’ve known each other for a long time. Of course, I was nervous to meet them. I’m always nervous to meet my couples. I’m an introvert/ extrovert. I can talk to you once I get to know you. This is me being opened with you guys. I truly love my couples and always hope to build an awesome friendship in the end. I can say that Socheata and Ken have become my friends. Couples always talk about how I make them feel special…but honestly it’s the other way around. My couples make me feel alive and I’m so thankful to all of them for letting me document such an important moment in their lives.

I first met them at St. Francis Fountain Restaurant in the Mission District area. It’s one of their favorite places in the city and it’s also San Francisco’s oldest ice cream parlor and diner in the Mission since 1918. How cool is that! We then went to Alamo Square Park to walk around and start the session. We were so lucky not to see a lot of people around, which let us photograph the Painted Ladies in the backdrop. Normally this park is always full of tourists or the locals having picnics.

We then headed to a more greenery part of town and went to Presidio of San Francisco. This place is full of hidden gems. It was a perfect cloudy day in the Bay Area. We ended the session by going to a hill overlooking the Golden Gate. Which was a cherry on top! I loved spending the day with these two lovebirds and hope you enjoy their engagement session all over San Francisco.
