My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Eve for our engagement shoot and wedding and she has always blown us away with how wonderful she is. When we first had our engagement shoot, Eve brought my wife and I a bottle of champagne. During our wedding, she booked a room at our hotel the night before so that she could be there as early as possible.

Eve was a stand out amongst our wedding vendor team. After our initial photographer indicated there would be a high chance she couldn't show, we moved quick to secure a new photographer just a month before the wedding. It was important to us to find a quality photographer with an eye for some of the artsy/moody photos we were hoping for. Enter Eve who really did come and save the day. From the moment we met, she was so kind and showed a true interest in getting to know us as a couple.

She was an absolute rock star during our wedding. We had a larger wedding (150 ppl) and she handled it with grace; always staying patient but giving direction confidently when need be. One of our favorite things Eve did was our private vows. We were considering scrapping it as it might be too complicated logistically, but Eve knew how important that time would later be and moved quick to find a quiet spot to make it happen. That really set the tone for my now wife and I, and was one of our most cherished moments on our wedding day. And the photos! We just received our full gallery and they're so beautiful! There aren’t enough words to effectively convey the gratitude my husband and I have for Eve. I found her on Instagram a year before our wedding and there was something simple but extremely unique about her photos, not overdone but still magnifying every single natural detail about the couples she shot and the elements around them. I reached out (nervous about the thought of using someone I found on social media, I’m still an old school girl at heart) and she was so open and made me feel like she wanted to get to know us and our story even more so than just wanting our business. When I was weighing different photographers, I asked a friend who went to school for photography to look at the ones that were in my potential budget range. She reviewed the photographs without knowing the quotes and preferred Eve's heads above the rest, moreso than a couple that were more expensive and did not include a second photographer. Good wedding photography is expensive, but the quality of her photographs for the price is a deal, particularly considering that she often doesn't charge extra for travel within CA. She didn't even try to upsell us on more hours, giving us the wise advice that we'd want to use her hours toward getting ready photos rather than more dim, sweaty dance floor photos. She was so right!

Eve's photos are timeless and beautiful. She was also great on the day of the wedding, getting all the right photos while giving us small moments to walk ahead and be by ourselves, and just generally being a calming, happy presence. She was the single best decision we made vendor-wise.

Trying to think of a word that best describes my experience with Eve would have to be, 'WOW!' My husband and I are beyond blown away by how amazing our Engagement pictures came out, and the sneak pic of our wedding pictures. Our guests cannot stop talking about how awesome our pictures are, and we totally agree! Also, Eve is an amazing person, and was such a blast to work with. She helped make our wedding absolutely amazing!

Eve is a phenomenal photographer. From our first meeting with her I loved her and knew she would be amazing! Our pictures came out beautifully. Eve captured every special moment, even those that we missed ourselves, and has such a good eye. You can tell she loves her work in the way she lights up while taking photos and finds cool shots in unexpected places. We look at our pictures all the time and I’m so grateful to have found her!

Eve is an extremely talented photographer. When I looked at photos from past weddings she photographed on her website, I didn't just see photos, I saw stories of love. Stories of people I didn't even know. I was getting emotional about other people's weddings through her photos. When we had our initial Skype meeting with Eve, she was so chill. We obviously met to discuss booking her as our photographer, but she also wanted to get to know my now husband and I. I even remember talking about remedies to stay healthy as one of our questions for her was how does she handle staying healthy when she is constantly shooting weddings. We have worked with Eve close to 18 months now. After our venue she was the very first vendor we booked. We were originally supposed to get married June 2020, but ultimately postponed to October 2020 after several changes in plans. She stuck with us through all of it and we are so grateful for all her support.

As a couple who does not consider ourselves photogenic and at times camera shy, we were stressed like many other couples are about having to touch and hug and kiss in front of a stranger. When we did our engagement session in November 2019, it rained and I was already stressed about that because it never rains in Southern California. Despite getting a little wet that day, our engagement session with Eve was a lot of fun. She came up with so many cool photo ideas just walking a couple blocks around the city. We were definitely a bit awkward at first, but as the session went on we realized this really isn't so bad and Eve made us feel completely comfortable. Our engagement photos turned out awesome.

Wedding day finally came for us and we already had our sneak peek photos very early the next morning. WOW is all I can say. We are so excited for the rest to come. We've already selected a photo for our Christmas card because the sneak peek photos are that good. Thank you so much Eve for beautifully capturing our story. I waited way to long to leave Eve a review but I must say how amazing she is! My husband and I had to postpone our wedding due to covid. We ended up losing some money because of it and decided to elope. I contacted Eve for photos and without no hesitation she offered us her amazing service that would fit within our budget. She was so informative and knowledgeable about her photo sessions, lightning, time, etc. When I met Eve, I felt like I knew her for years! We were adamant about two things, incredible food and photography, and our vendors being vegan along side us. Eve fit the bill as a vegan photographer for us. When my husband and I met Eve, we went to a vegan bar in downtown LA, and bonded over vegan food and wine (both very important things in my life). We were lucky to call eve our photographer during our wedding and are lucky to continue calling her a friend. She helped us feel comfortable during our engagement and wedding photos, and did not mind that we wanted photos in all the gorgeous Santa Barbara areas. 

We absolutely adore our wedding album! She beautifully captured everything we loved about our day, veganism, small businesses, Santa Barbara, our family, and of course my husband and I. We get to relive that day over and over again because of her, and I find a new favorite every time I look through it!

Eve is an incredibly talented photographer, and a phenomenal human being. In the middle of wedding planning and our busy lives, she brought so much peace, lightheartedness, and fun back into this (at times) hectic industry. Our session was so much fun and simple. I was afraid I would be self conscious being photographed by a stranger but she made us feel so comfortable, took time to get to know us and incorporated who we are into the location, the poses. By the end it felt like we were just spending time with a close friend who happened to have a camera in hand. And the results were better than I could have ever imagined. My partner and I initially found Eve's photos on Instagram. We emailed her, along with a few other photographers, to inquire about pricing and availability. Even from the first email encounter, working with Eve was incredible easy and stress-free. We felt confident in choosing her as our wedding photographer.

A couple months after signing the contract (with about 6 months to go before the wedding), I received an email from Eve out of the blue. She was going to be in the Bay Area shooting other events, and wanted to offer a free engagement session for us in her downtime. We initially had not wanted to take engagement photos -- my partner and I don't like having our picture taken! -- but we are so glad we did. Those photos, like the photos on the day of our wedding, turned out gorgeously. 

I would recommend Eve to any couple for their wedding day. She is so easy to work with, has a great sense of humor, and makes you feel very comfortable in front of the camera -- even if you are like us and usually hate it. You can't go wrong with Eve!

Photography was one of the few things that I REALLY cared about when planning a tiny wedding (elopement really) at the courthouse. I was raised around professional photographers and so was invested in getting photos that could both make everyone in my family look great and that also had real artistic quality. Not only did Eve NAIL our photos on both counts, she was the sweetest, most grounding and overall awesome presence throughout the whole day. Seriously, if she could get our family (which includes an 80 year old, a frenetic six year old, and a two grumpy teenagers, plus us the bride and groom, NONE OF WHOM LIKE HAVING OUR PICTURE TAKEN) to look stunning and comfortable, she can do anything. Eve is also such a breeze to work with- it felt like having another trusted friend with us all day, and when she sent us a preview of the photos WITHIN HOURS, I was expecting maybe three, but got ~25 stunning shots off the bat! We just received our full gallery and these will be photos we'll all treasure forever. On top of all that, Eve's package was the best value of any of the photographers we looked into. She's a gem.

Eve photographed my sister's wedding and upon meeting her and seeing her work, I knew she would be the perfect person to photograph my own wedding a few months later. We knew we wanted Eve to photograph our wedding as soon as we stumbled upon her on Instagram (1.5 years before our wedding!) Hiring her was one of the absolute best decisions we could have made. She has an amazing ability to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, which is not easy! Her style of shooting is so non-intrusive and natural. Plus, her calming presence really helped me stay grounded and relaxed on a day that was overflowing with emotion and (happy) chaos. I couldn't have wished for a better person to follow me around all day on one of the best days of my life ;) My wedding was 5 months ago and we still talk all the time. Eve is a hard working, dedicated and highly skilled photographer. Despite the 90 degree heat and my crazy family and friends Eve kept her cool and snapped the memorable moments of the evening. I work in film and have hired crew members for shoots over the years and have rarely seen someone work so hard. I kept looking over my shoulder during important moments to catch her attention and she was already there while still giving me personal space to enjoy the special day. The photos have a candid quality to them just like I discussed with Eve beforehand and look fantastic. We received a few photos right after the wedding and the rest within the time outlined in the agreement. Choose Eve!

Where do I even being with Eve. I'll start by saying she was heaven sent (no I’m not being dramatic ). We originally had someone else do our engagement photos and we're going to use them for wedding as well, we got a random email saying they booked someone else for our date. Frantically we looked high and low, emailed, asked around... then my husband (fiancé then) scrolled through Instagram photos and found..... EVE ROX! Oh my gosh we fell in love with her photos. We contacted Eve and from the beginning she was so friendly and funny (you need that while your wedding planning). She was always available to review her contract, so helpful to answer questions, and when we had to talk dollar bills she was more than willing to sit down with us and work out the best deal for both sides. Her payment plan is also amazing. You make a deposit then pay monthly, this is amazing since most vendors have you pay everything upfront or your wedding month. She will always check in with you, guide you through the picture process (giving her lists of people you want photographed, photo ideas, etc..), she's always willing to help. Her photo albums are so easy to share and you have 100% control and rights to your photos! You get all of her edited photos and you can download them directly or print straight from the site. No matter what curve balls get thrown your way on your day, Eve WILL have you covered. If you're looking for someone who will go above and beyond and show you so much kindness and love.. Eve is your girl! Everyone still talks about our photos. I think what stands out the most about her photos are the warmth and colors. They're so unique. There's a warmth you feel. They're hip and cool but so romantic. They're warm and tender but not sappy. I promise you without a doubt choosing Eve will leave you so happy and you won't regret it. Once your big day is over all you have is memories, videos, and photos... you want her, you want her unique and beautiful gems!

I cannot overstate how much we loved working with Eve for our engagement shoot and wedding! Eve is easygoing, fun, and finds the perfect balance between capturing the moment as it is and setting you up to look your best. Even a picture of me housing a sandwich at the end of our engagement shoot somehow looked gorgeous! What can I say about our photographer, Evelyn? Wow. Theres a lot I want to say but I just want to express the bullet points -- she was so amazing, professional, and helpful. We changed our wedding from an elopement to an actual ceremony, and she agreed to the date changes. Not only that but she went and above and beyond to help me with the actual wedding planning, helping me with so many details and things I didn't have any clue how to do. Just so so helpful, even when that wasn't part of her job at all and wasn't required. It felt like she really actually did care about wanting us to have the wedding we wanted, and was always so easy to get ahold of and quick to respond to any questions. She did an amazing job at our wedding and got some really beautiful photos of us which we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Additionally, after the wedding our photos were ready pretty quickly and she made it simple to access and order prints that we wanted. Then a few weeks later we got a package in the mail and it was a beautiful one-of-a-kind flash drive with our photos and some prints that she had done as well. It was just really amazing and I am so thankful that she was there to capture our big day and to help us so much. Highly recommend!!
